Erm, right, the eyes were closed for a split second as I braced myself due to horrific chest pains actually, probably down to the chest infection that is now quite productive (phlegm etc). I had started so I bloody well was going to finish but my breathing was terrible...
Yes PQ id ID affet me and NO WAY would I run a half marathon like that. You still use your lungs A LOT in a half marathon aAND for a long time so you could be forcing infection deeper into chest for a long time which is not good.
Jolguk, I was faster on the Saturday but by Monday I was starting to feel a bit dizzy with it and short of breath. Stupid of me to run at all really but I didn't want it to spoil the day...
I'd be very careful PQ and if it is on your chest on Sunday then don't run, you risk making yourself very ill...
Plenty of races, only one you

Ian, it's not on my chest at all. It's purely a snotty head cold so I'm hoping I should be ok for Sunday.

Well am running this evening which is the first time since Fri so will see how that goes. If I don't feel I can put in a good effort on Sunday then I wont run. Not interested in 'just getting round', I want a pb !!
