Dobbie
geordiegirl - no obvious injury, just a lack of energy - last 4 runs been feeling tired and heavy when i run and after a couple of miles i'm really struggling mentally to keep going so i either run / walk or stop to stretch for a couple of minutes and then carry on albeit ever slower! hopefully a short break will get things back on track.
BTW - I defo do NOT envy your week long course on data protection, although DO envy you spending time in Edinburgh - possibly my fav place to visit!

Haha well it's not the easiest if topic to deal with esp as the new regulations are rather woolly.
Had an exam today and need 65% to pass I'm not sure it was blooming hard so much squashed into one day and the exam straight after, and I thought I was pretty clued up all things considered.
So 2.7m this morning which was fab then got in and changed and been out for 3. Decided to go to the next door hotel for dinner and back for broadchurch. It's r'n'r

I've absolutely loved my week in Edinburgh, I've ran loads and took in a trip to the castle, Princess Street & Gardens, Carlton Hill to see Nelsons Monuent, The Royal Mile and today to see Greyfriars Bobby. Im aiming to get out tomorrow morning for a couple of miles.
I've been data protected and hope to pass th course tomorrow and also met up with some lovely fetchies. Sometimes work trips rock!!!

How are you doing Dobbie? Has the rest paid off?
I've been struggling to fit in running this week, there is just not enough hours in the day!!
Managed 3m on Tues morning and 4.5m tonight, my legs feel like lead and I'm exhausted... just hope I'm not getting the bug my colleagues are spreading
Hope you're all ok - its very quiet here

I ran again today! Fed up of being ill with a horrible chesty cough for the last 5 weeks. It was a slow and hilly parkrun at Bestwood Village but a beautiful route.

I'm sorry to hear that you've got that cold I had it in January and even now my chest feels tight.
But today I did a run to Parkrun, Parkrun and then back. A few too many wines last night and I got a cracking result 29.26.... the best time I've had since I started back last year!! The hard work is paying off !!

Ooh, nice one GG, our local pr is only 1.8m away so I'm planning on doing the same thing when I'm a bit fitter... May even do the wine training as well

I find it is great fun Taz!! Get yourself along soon, even if you drive there for now? I love it when I get there you get caught up in the moment and the support is great.
Been out with geordiemum this morning, 3.25m to get her to 10 for the week - she's flying.
I am away again next week (grrr) but with 2 nights in a hotel I should manage to get a couple of runs in and I'm at running club on Tuesday (first time in probably 9yrs at a running club) so feeling nervous and apprehensive but equally looking forward to being pushed.
