Well done Scribbler! It was tough out there today! I ran into a wall of wind at around 4k that forced me to a walk and there was a lot of tough work this morning. Very happy with 29:25 - faster than I’d hoped.

Managed a slow and plodding 3 miles earlier. Quads are on fire now, but it's my fault for going a bit too hard at the gym yesterday.

Not a bad lie in Matt! We had a lovely walk over the fells with the dog despite being sheltered by the trees the wind was wild so well done anyone out there today.

I’m exhausted not sure if it’s yesterday, the fact I’m doing damp January (not drinking midweek) and then having a couple of beers last nights you’d think I’d had a dozen! Not drinking is not good for me 😂

Another 3-and-a-bit miles today. First time with back to back running days in quite some time. 12 miles on the week which is a good base to increase from

I. Absolute awe one of my running club ladies has just took 1st lady at the Montane Spine Race. 34.15!! 108miles and ridiculous ascent, horrific wind and rain! Maybe I need to start attending her training sessions!

Well done to everyone that got out this weekend!
Went out for a slow 7miles today, a bit of walking involved but feeling stronger as the weeks go by.
Great work by your clubmate GG, I've heard a bit about the Spine from a couple of Marathon Talk interviews, sounds brutal!

Yeah, well done to your club mate gg - what little I've heard about the spine has put me off for life! My friend was also doing an ultra today, but had to pull out about 1/3rd of the way through due to the conditions.

Meanwhile, I managed a couple of miles this afternoon.

*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
