Well June wasn’t a great running month coming in at my lowest mileage this year but it was needed after the crazy marathons earlier in the year. Must try harder this month not least as I have the small matter if a 31m run in 8 weeks time eek.
Busy week this week trying to get the house sorted before our holiday on Friday, lovely week at the boat so hoping to fit in a couple of decent runs.
Have a good July all and SVR well done on passing me! Great running.

I found it tough going today too Dave O, pollen and conditions played havoc with my breathing and it's soooo close!

I have a 7 hour event tomorrow, organised by Hare and Tortoise. A 5.3km lap, as many as you can manage in 7 hours. A bit warm today but weather doesn't look too bad for tomorrow, hopefully a bit cooler. Should be able to manage 4 for a half marathon, anything beyond that will be a bonus. Not sure I have a marathon in me, but you never know 😬🤔😂 Also, Next weekend i have the Brightlingsea 10k. This is my home town run and goes right past my front door 😂
Happy running everyone, whatever you're up to 😀

We also found it rather hard going on our run this morning. It was cloudy, but very humid. Still we kept going and did 5 miles.
I have now gone back into Red Heart country - the first time since January 21st. After having had 3 bouts of injury during the past 2 years, I gradually returned to running again on 20th March, and it has taken 15 weeks to break even on the target mileage. I shall lose my red heart tomorrow, but hopefully I shall be able to keep it from next week onwards!

Managed 4.2 miles in the morning drizzle. Only my second run since April, so hopefully this has finally kick-started my running regime.

SV was what a Saturn Run event? I love them! I never thought I’d enjoy laps but after a while you can switch off and just run. Well done whatever you managed.
I did half marathon today looping around Huntington & Godmanchester. My longest run since Windermere and it hurt! But I need to build up again so I have to get over it.
25m week which is a good effort.
