Just trying to get my head around what data should be captured.

I think we need:

Fetchie Name
Album Number (i.e. x/50)
Artist
Album
Date listened?
Score (out of 10?)
Brief Review?

And we just all use the same sheet. We can then use Excel-style filters/sorting on the data

Good idea McGoohan. One sheet would quite unwieldy, there could be as many as 500 reviews by end of year (assuming we don't let it die). Maybe one sheet per user with all that data and maybe a linked summary sheet? Date released might be handy as well.

I suppose nothing is set in stone and everything is malleable anyway.

Right, I've set up a Google Spreadsheet. Hopefully made it available here. I've started filling it in. I'm off to listen in a sec.

So... just continue down the page. The 'Album Number' thing is just for each of us to keep tabs on what we are doing. So that's my number 1 listen. My next album will be number 2 to me - I wasn't intending to do a total count like on the mince pie thread!

Just caught up. I should be able to quickly duplicate the book list functionality that I made last year. Will sort it tomorrow hopefully.

LindsD an excellent point, I’ve got a KVB / Editors gig in 3 weeks so need a recap on both their latest albums :-) really looking forward to this.

As a spin-off from Joopsy's excellent Albums of 2022 thread fetcheveryone.com/forum/albums-of-2022-62537/ this is a new thread where we commit to listen to one new album a week in 2023. Allowing a couple of weeks off for life commitments etc, that's 50 albums in the year.
