I am at last in receipt of Tresor by Gwenno, ordered a loooooong time ago. It got lost in the post. I am very impressed with this synthy Cornish/Welsh language pop. Thanks, whoever recommended it Review left. |

Intriguingly, Spotify recommended Gwenno to me when the Hamish Hawk album finished

Seem to have inadvertently delved into some Japanese shoegaze. If the current band "For Tracy Hyde" is anything to go by it may be more than a slight detour

I found a great underground scene when I spent some time in Beijing a few years ago. Lots of hidden gems in the East it seems. Check out a playlist I put together in interested. open.spotify.com |

I'm really enoying Flume - Things Don't Always Go The Way You Plan. If it was all like the first track, I don't think I'd have the same feelings - but the rest is pretty awesome. |

Just realised that Anna B Savage is a guest on both the Orbital and Hamish Hawk albums. Think it's only fair that i listen to her album next.

Lots of cool Japanese stuff out there. My favourite track is probably Ichika Bachika by Re:versed. It's the opening song to the live action adaptation of the manga series Kakegurui (which is also excellent (and completely mad) - for any manga fans out there). I usually skip the opening credits to shows on Netflix, but not for this series because of this song!

The WAEVE album is really growing on me. Not loving Hamish Hawk but it deserves the usual 3 listens. I might have liked Pigs x7 in my teens but I’m not quite as angry as I used to be.
