Easy 8 miles done...at a snail's pace. I've signed up for a race next year...in Canada, so we know when we're going to visit family now. September. Hubby's going to do the 5k with me and then a short while later, I'll run a half marathon.

Well done, new 1500ers!
I did the sensible thing by swapping to today's marathon instead of doing yesterday's. The weather was perfect for running today, and I managed to dip under 5:30, which hasn't happened very often this year. And I met up with Scottish Fetchie, metro_nome, who travels down to Newark to do the double every year!

Well done Maclennane and HoD
Those dumplings looked very nice JK - haven’t had any for ages so will have to make a casserole in the week as an excuse to have some! Well done on your marathon! Glad the weather was kind to you, and pleased you managed sub 5:30
Have just realised looking at my training log that this mornings run has taken me to exactly 1700 miles for the year.
Mrs J, definitely doable with 2 weeks left - I’m sure you’ll make it!
