I was wondering where you had been running Stu. Hubby used to work in the Surrey Research Park up to about 2013 I think. Weird little company called Detica at the bottom of the hill.

Small world - I nearly worked for Detica Garfield. 2005. I used to work in Fleet for a big tech consultancy and they were a sort of niche IT consultancy. Quite fancied it. And a Uni research park seemed like a nice location. G

Oh dear G...hubby started there as sole counsel in 1999, then the team expanded to about 6 lawyers under him. Then they floated then were bought by BAE Systems and it went downhill from there!!! After that, hubby had a job for a year and a bit in Fleet - company called Anite Telecoms, which was acquired by an American company a year and a bit later.

I hate Bracknell...it's a nightmare to drive through. I've only done that once in my life on my way to Reading...scared the living daylights out of me!

I once waited in a queue for a car park for 2 hours in Reading (is that where the Oracle shopping centre is?) Flippin nightmare of a place. Scotland might not be as trendy as SE England but at least you can drive around! G

We liked Scotland when we were up there in early July. My first visit there after living here for 23 years. It won't be my last visit. We were very lucky with the weather that week...as we were camping. No rain all week...it rained the following week.
