Donnie1, well done for yesterday's parkrun, and yearly mileage to date.

Steve, the cold affected my breathing again this morning, so after running the first 5k, I Jeffed the remainder ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ
In my prime, I raced cross country in the snow in vest and shorts.

Nice hearing from you again Lorraine. Well done for your longest training run and weekly mileage since 2022. I'm sorry to hear about your fall, hurting your left knee and right elbow.

Well done Peter for todays 3.2 miles and 54.7 to date.

Well done MrsB for todays 8 miles, with two 10 minutes blocks at marathon pace.

This morning was a solo 5.6 miles on roads; the first 5k running, and the remainder by Jeffing. The cold was hurting my lungs, so I had to resort to run/walk. I'm getting soft in my old age ๐Ÿ˜•

Long run ran late today. Pleased to get the distance up to 16k/10m which is quite long enough for me and up on target. No stories of ice and snow from me I'm afraid. It was too bloody hot!

Thanks MrsB I might have a look to see where it is I could maybe do a run post work before going to hotel

I tend to only come down for a night or two midweek.

Managed to get out for some slippy miles it wasnโ€™t all this bad there was patches of clear path which was blissful.

Got back and did a weights workout then yoga! Feel feel virtuous.

Well done all esp those still dealing with freezing temps and snow/ice.

Well done to everyone pushing through the snow and ice! @PeterFay is up near the top of the target list!

I'm still below par as my target distance yesterday didn't quite work from a family logistics point of view so ran with the family in the park to notch up 9k.

@Mrsbridgewater I definitely think there should be a work for that feeling in the shower, something like preshiveration. Also perhaps one for putting off getting out of (Or sometimes even into) a shower because you know that you're going to be cold afterwards: Procrashiveration

A miniscule rise in temperature isn't enough for me! Procrashiveration still kinda spoils things!!
Glad you did some slippery miles gg and the added some other stuff to your regime, yeah...right to feel virtuous!๐Ÿคฃ
Well done on your 9k EdG.
Went out late again, as I've been doing during the cold spell. Didn't make much difference to my feeling of being less than energetic and just slogged out 4.3 on trails.

Good distance there Early Riser. Ten milers tick many of the boxes for a lot of athletes.

Early Riser, well done for your 10 miles.

Well done gg for your slippy miles, you are braver than me! A nice photo by the way ๐Ÿ˜€

Well done EdGreig for your 9k.

Well done Steve for this mornings 4.3 miles on trails.

I ran a hilly 12k on roads this morning with Giuliana. I was really pleased with the increase in distance, after yesterday's struggle. I think that the slight improvement in the temperature may have helped.

@geordiegirl I found out my running mate didn't order medals when we signed up! I don't usually get t-shirts these days but I do like a medal and I have to say I was looking forward to the EFM one!
