Great going Peter, proving again the hardiness of folks up there! Those miles are adding up impressively. There's a few of us whose pace is not what it was. Mine is the poorest currently and not likely to improve. I think I'll pack it in๐๐!! Hats off to the tread mill users too, no way I could do that either ๐ . Well done on braving the chill for a club run LL. Glad you were able to do the FW hs . Shows how cold it's been for your club to cancel the run. The ups and downs of running... yesterday I felt good and scored myself 7/10 overall but today I slogged out 3.6 miles and only 3/10. It was. 3c at 10.30 am when I went out and the wind wasn't helping. Felt totally ugh...put it down to not eating well yesterday! Always good to have an excuse. |

Well done Steve for todays 3.6 miles whilst feeling ugh. Well done Peter for todays cautious 3.7 miles on black sheet ice. I walked to a cafe this afternoon for lunch with 2 running friends. 1.6 miles each way. The mornings frost had cleared up. The majority of parkruns round the country tomorrow have been cancelled, including Bartley Park which we had intended to run. |

Well done @steve45 @PeterFay and @hillstrider for continuing to rack up the miles! And massive well done to @geordiegirl for another very chilly sea swim! Very impressive! I'm a bit behind the rate, hoping to catch up at the weekend, managed 7k of intervals today that included dropping off the soft plastic for recycling at Sainsbury's! |

EdGreig, thanks. Well done for your 7k of intervals. We will be doing the Wilverley parkrun tomorrow, being that it is the only one in the neighbourhood still going ahead. It's nearly all off road, so probably not too badly affected by ice. |

No running this week due more to life stuff than lack of enthusiasm. Wednesday morning we had someone come and look at our broadband, yesterday morning we had a viewing on our property, because of the feedback we went and viewed a property today and we have 2 to view tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll go out Sunday.
