Run in the dark 99% of the time during winter Jack; up at 5.15 am....
Hope the dentist visit yielded no issues hs and the knee has settled down.
Glad you're back doing the miles again MrHSc even though 8 miles in a gale wasn't the most enjoyable.
Three hours sleep just isn't enough Dubai runner! I'm sure you'll make it up!!
Dunno what a CCF meeting is Mrsb but good that you're able to fit your steady training around the interferences of everyday life! Look after that voice!
Another quick 5k EdG, it's becoming a habit! Hope the wardrobe looks good after your efforts!!
Back to chill, minus 1c and slippery pavements this morning, luckily could see the icy bits twinkle in the light of the head torch. Just over 5k was ok once we'd got to the trails where gravel and dirt gave decent traction.

I was wondering about "CCF" too...

Worst of Éowyn just passing though Orkney but not as bad as much of the UK. Heavy rain and windy (nothing out of the usual for us).
parkrun (and ferries) cancelled.

CCF is Combined Cadet Force, I believe. At least it was when I was at school

Morning all sorry I’m awol again this weekend I’m at the national running show. But they dragged me to parkrun first!! Quite enjoyed it once the field thinned out.

Same here.

A nice morning out there today, I did a nice loop with company. A little icy in places but the sun was out and it was lovely. Didn't seem to be much damage, it was pretty windy last night but I think we escaped the worst of the storm.

Well done on your Parkrun GG.

I couldn't cope with 3 hours sleep. I run mostly in the dark at this time of year too. Already looking forward to the lighter mornings.

A nice sunny 🌞 morning, but still a bit cold. I did an easy pace 5k on roads with Giuliana, testing the right knee. It was ok, so hopefully the couple of rest days have done the trick.

Yesterday's dental appointment for a filling went ok thanks.

Back in UK for a week or so seeing family. In Norfolk out of the storm’s path. Ran fields in sun yesterday and Colney Lane parkrun in Norwich this morning. Also in sun! Big change in terrain from southern Spain. Great to see so many runners out and about.
