Hmm, I posted a few messages yesterday but they have vanished! Please imagine that I have said lovely things about great parkrun times and lots of weddings!

FF - well done - hope you hang around here, I went over the the 1500 mile group once and it wasn’t as lovely and friendly.

17.5 miles with Husbando. Rather hilly, set out feeling awful, was very pleased to pass a cafe with a loo at just the right moment! Hamstring was not happy, but was just about bearable - gives me a bit more confidence for Berlin.

Evangel
Hi everyone. We've been away since Wednesday in Ilfracombe visiting family, because today was a special service at their church - a service of Believer's Baptism for our 19 year-old granddaughter Bethany. Our son is the Pastor (minister) of the church so he baptised his own daughter after she had first given a testimony of how she had become a Christian, and of her life since then.

Thanks to so many of you for your kind words of welcome back, and your encouragement as I gradually build up running after the long-term knee injury.

Hi Evangel, Sunday's special family service sounded wonderful. How lovely for your son, the Minister, to baptise his own daughter. 😊

It's good to hear that you are gradually building up your mileage after your knee injury.

It's been raining heavily non stop this morning, and I ran 8.2 miles in the forest with two running friends, one of whom is doing the GNR in 4 weeks time.

The terrain was very wet, muddy, and rooty.

Sorry not been posting, lots to catch up on. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. Nice to see you here Evangel.

Hope the hamstring gets better soon Mrs B.

Good running everyone.

I am now feeling better, I was out yesterday morning and did 10k on a hilly route. It was very warm early on. Best run I have had in a couple of weeks. Back to work today (it's not been a good day) after a week off, did not sleep well last - the wee man was hungry - he better sleep better the rest of the week.
