Hope your feeling is ok LL.

Don't worry about your pace Evangel, it's good to see you running.

HS really does have some good sessions.

Fingers crossed you get an appointment soon Steve.

Thanks FF, I have gotten some better sleep. Work has been rubbish this week - will see tomorrow what crap is going to happen next.

I did a run up the local hill last night with the club, it was a lovely warm evening. I was incredibly slow and disappointed with my run. My legs hate me. Easy run tomorrow I think.

I only tend to run 3 times a week and enjoy the longer runs hillstrider. You run a little more but do proper training sessions.
I hope work improves for you Lesley and running has it's ups and downs for us all.

As always a huge id activity in here hence why regardless of aims I’m staying put!

Good to see 3 consistent runs a week Ev. Steve keep hanging in many would have given up so you’re still winning.

Great running as always everyone, hope the hammy is behaving and little man and you are better Lesley.

A manic week here so mileage will suffer but I’m at 78 for the month so can’t complain. Had a lovely run with my pal this morning she’s a lot (lot) faster than me (she win Oman half marathon two years running) so great that it pushed me esp as I was rather jaded this morning on under 5hr sleep / self inflicted we sat up chatting til gone 1am 😬 I’m too old for this now 🤣

Three excellent runs a week serve you well FF. A good regime doesn't need tampering with!
I'd say a head of hair like yours Evangel is a preferred option 😂 but I make up for my lack of it as a beard!

Great that the high milers intend to stick around once they've hit the 1000. (I was a grumbler about that a couple of years ago but heck, it was a foolish grumble; the input by everyone is always worth reading).
I don't do longer runs or "proper training" sessions right now but am looking forward to when they're possible again 🤔!
What a fabulous morning it was today, I only did two miles but worth feeling that autumn chill already!

I hope you have a more comfortable run today Lesley.

It's many years since I stayed up that late GG.

It was a nice morning here too Steve

I ran a solo 4 miles recovery run on roads, but pushed on the up and down hills.

I'm meeting up with a friend this afternoon in a trendy cafe in the village for coffee ☕️ and cake.

I find it hard to stay up past 9.30 these days.

Nice to see the weather has been better down south for you. It's been nice here all week - weather warning for heavy rain tomorrow though.

I did an easy run last night with a fast mile for the virtual mile. Was a little slower but given the last few weeks I'm happy with that - my legs were not. Not sure what I will do over the weekend - all depends on that rain.

It's been raining hard all night here in the south, and I got drenched during my Farmers Walk this morning 🌧

9.30 is our default bedtime Lesley! We get up before 5.30 am and need the sleep. With you and a little un I'm not surprised you're a 9 30 bed timer!
Nice to enjoy coffee and cake after your four miler yesterday hs but ugh to the wet Farmer's Walk this morning.
No rain here when I did a 4miler but disappointed with how I felt .
Couldn't believe my diabetic blood test check ( because I'm taking statins) showed me as being pre diabetic. My whole lifestyle doesn't equate with such a result. Will be checked again in January because it needs reversing...pronto! Heck, apparently it causes fatigue, as do statins and what with all the very minor issues I seem to have no wonder I'm a plodder these days😂 I intend to turn all this around bit by bit 😂 How long have I been saying that?!🤔😂

Well done Steve for persisting with your running, whilst coping with the various medical issues that you are suffering from. Keep it up and hopefully you will get on top of them.

I've been pre diabetic several times Steve, eating a lot of fruit with natural sugars doesn't help matters apparently. I thought my diet was ok so what causes it I don't know but I do tend to reduce the fruit intake if it goes up and when checked next time it's always down again.
