Thanks LL, I had a headache for a few hours feeling sorry for myself, but was ok later, and had a good night's sleep 😴

Well done for your 7 miles slog.

I hope you have a nice time with your grandchildren 😊

Well done Steve for your 5k this morning. It seems like you have got your mojo back 😃

I've come to terms with realising that I'm not as young as I was, and shouldn't be trying to keep up with running friends 30 or more years younger than me in training sessions.

I've done the Farmers Walk, and looking forward to a meet up this afternoon in a pub in the village for a pint or two 🍺. It's a 30 minute walk each way, so good cross training 🚶🏻‍♂️

Glad you’re ok HS. You keep on trying you seem to be doing ok. It was just an off day and you did the right thing.
Enjoy your meet up.
I went out and did 15mins out and back which keeps my green tick.

Was that enjoy? Or endure the grandchildren HS 😆

Thanks LL, I do have the occasional "off day," but we all do don't we.

Well done for your out and back.

I hadn't thought in terms of endure or enjoy the grandchildren 🤣 ,but I'm sure that enjoy is appropriate.

I sometimes think of my paternal grandfather when having a pint, as he used to say "cheers to prohibition!"😁

Good running everyone!

I'm still very snotty so nothing for me this week so far. The wee man isn't too bad, has lots of spots but isn't scratching them too much. He has some on his eyelids that look painful. A little fed up being stuck at home. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

I hope the snottiness does one very soon Lesley. Poor wee fella. Are you getting out for a little walk in the fresh air?

We have been out in the garden, he hasn't wanted to go for a walk until this afternoon. Just a short one round the block.

Sorry to hear the snottiness is lingering and glad little man isn’t suffering too much. Sending speedy recovery and a good break from bug catching Lesley.

I’m sure you could class having the grandkids as cross training LL have fun.

hs hope you enjoyed your meet up and a couple of 🍺.

I did a half today and called for my mam for 2 and a bit miles l, she’s been injured and was testing out her back and fingers crossed it went well.

I’m planning on going on the club social run tonight it’s been a long while since I made one then maybe a 🍺 at the pub with friends when I get home.

Glad that you and the young un are getting better Lesley.
Well done on your half gg. Hope Mam's injury has resolved now. A social run after a half! Beware your tiredness.
Another 5k this morning. Storm. What storm?! Here at least it was occasionally heavyish showers but no wind of note and certainly not worthy of a weather warning. I went out in the rain and loved sploshing through the big puddles along the trail. I presume it's stormy somewhere but these false alarm nonsenses are becoming quite frequent.
Best weekly mileage done since November (18!!) . Very little compared with the great miles others are putting in but I'm happy with it.

You do sound a little happier with your running Steve which is nice to read.
