No running since last Thursday for me. Monday is normally a rest day but I've just ran 18 miles so that will throw me for the rest of the week, I really won't know what day of the week it is especially as I wasn't working last night too.

Well done for your 18 miles FF, you deserve a rest day or two.

This morning was an enjoyable 7 miles in the forest with the Monday Group. It was still muddy in places, but drying out.

Wow FF that's impressive. Well done on your 7 forest miles HS. GG has inspired me to attempt run the sum this month so just over 1k today. I need to be patient this month as clearly it will be a slow start.

Yeah Loo!!!! Just one km at a time. I did more but always knowing the km’s was what mattered and don’t forget you can split the runs too that helped me plan runs with my mam and when things didn’t go to plan.

Good starts to May by all of you. Still going strong hs on that muddy terrain.
That's some jump in mileage for a long run FF and shows there's plenty in your tank. Great distance.
Nice to take on a goal like that LL. Now 1km is right up my street at the moment but it's still a struggle. I couldn't believe how hard my one mile was this morning and my brain works overtime in trying to fathom out what the problem may be. Oh well, a mile is a mile although I'm tempted to take on kilometres as a way of making me feel more accomplished.

Steve change to KM if it helps your head.

Thanks GG I was wondering about running twice if I hadn’t time in one go ( thanks)

I think I’ve done this once before could have been a Feb 😂

Thanks Steve, I'm hoping to keep going for as long as possible. Hence more rest days than in the past. Keep up the 1 miles no matter how difficult.

A rest day today except for the usual Tuesday Farmers Walk. On Saturday, we are intending to wear red white and blue at the parkrun. 🇬🇧

Def go for km’s just don’t look at the miles!

I was worried to try it even though people said it was ok and it was so def helps some days.

Just been out for a 10m run, bloody cows, well young bullocks, who were very frolicky had me worried but they eventually moved. And I got a new shiny fetch badge today!

If it's in front of me, it's in miles - if it's behind me, it's in km.
That way, halfway through a marathon, I've already done 21 and there's only 13 left to go.

AndyS I like it always useful to have things to help your head.
