That tunnel ultra is brutal. No company and no talking despite passing people backwards and forwards in the tunnel.

Good luck tomorrow LL.
Well done parkrunners and tunnel supporters.
I managed my first run today since Monday. I feel better within myself but not 100% by any means. Despite this I still managed a 22.12 slowing slightly as each mile passed.
Get well soon hillstrider.

We had a short well lit clean tunnel, company and laughs and have to say to even run 200m in there would take its toll.

I believe Vic is also doing the bridge - totally crazy no shelter at all. She is another level.

Flipping heck FF take care of yourself and well done.

LL best of luck tomorrow

Great running Lesley, that was an excellent time.

I read an article recently in facebook about the 100 mile tunnel race, running the mile backwards and forwards through the tunnel, and in the dark when they turned the lights off in the evenings. I'm glad to hear that you had a short, well lit and clean tunnel GG.
Good luck for the "Bridge" runners.

Thanks FF. I'm pleased that you managed a run yesterday, but sorry that you are still not 100%. That's an amazing time, especially in the circumstances.

I'm hoping that your Southampton Half Marathon goes well this morning LL๐Ÿคž

I'm feeling a bit better this morning and not sneezing so much. I'm hoping to run tomorrow, but will just go for a short walk this morning to buy a paper.

Ugh to the Bath tunnel ultra but applause to all those doing it. Thank goodness my wife has "retired" from ultras because for some strange reason she said she fancied doing it .
Glad you're feeling better FF and well done on another good park run Lesley.
Conditions, at least here, are perfect for racers today. I completed 10k! My furthest since mid October and undoubtedly because my wife jogged with me.

Well done Steve for todays 10k. Does your wife give any reason for "retiring" from ultras?

A steady 9 this morning but started coughing well when I did my usual 1/4 walking cool down home.

Sensible decision hillstrider and well done Steve for the 10k.

Really enjoyed my Half a great course although not as flat as advertised.
I ran the whole way and not quite a PW.
So pleased considering lack of training jet lag etc.
FF and HS hope youโ€™re both fully fit soon.
Well done GG and thanks.
Well done on your 10k Steve.
