My ability to miss autocorrect is legendary!

Sorry you’re not well FF and hope whatever you have isn’t too bad hs.

That was a cracking session hs and hope the tooth isn’t too problematic or expensive.

Well done on the run Steve

Hope you had a good flight LL and not too cold back home.

I did my round up run this morning and added in a swift (for me) mile for FF’s virtual monthly mile managing 8.36 2s slower than last month but I was really tired today so I’m happy with that. Nice round 135 for the month and 380 for the year.

Excellent running GG, I commented on your training page.

I was really intending to "push the pace" in tomorrow's parkrun, especially after 2 rest days, but it could be risky, and I don't want my friend to catch it. I might do an easy pace solo run, depending on how I feel in the morning.

Sorry if I've passed my lurgi onto anyone.
Feeling more myself but coughing well and an annoying headache, headaches rare for me.

Oh no to the lurgies hope you both feel better soon. I ended up 2 miles short of target and lost this months green tick for the first time today.

Decided to be sensible and leave it as want to parkrun in the morning and have the half.

Well done rounding up GG.

Well done Steve things seem to be improving.

Good running everyone! Hope your feeling better now FF.

I managed a good couple of runs this week, Tuesday was rainy and cold and yesterday the complete opposite. I'm away in Inverness this weekend so going to try Torvean Parkrun tomorrow. It should be easier than my usual.

Good luck for your race LL!

Nasty sounding cough etc FF. You running with it? Hope it clears up quickly.
Great mile effort gg, that's a nice zippy pace.
Dentist sessions ahead then hs. Crowns do cost a fair bit, I'm lucky to only pay "lab fees" because we have dental plans. Wish it were the same for glasses, my new pair that I had last week were £550.

What a good park run this morning LL, set you up nicely for tomorrow. Best wishes for a good run in S'hampton. (I thought hs was doing it too?).
Well I WAS improving but my slight progress was brief and I've cut back distance yet again. I did enjoy my 3.5 on mainly muddy trails this morning.

Well done LL for this mornings parkrun, and best of luck for tomorrow's Southampton Half marathon.

I do have a dental plan Steve, which does give me a discount, but the total cost will be £549.60. I haven't entered the half marathon, but I have done it several times, and also the marathon. I'm glad that you managed to get out for a short run, on mainly muddy trails.

I didn't do the parkrun this morning, as my cold is still sniffy, and I didn't want my friend to catch it, as we car share. I went for a brisk walk instead to the supermarket and back to buy a paper.

Hope you feel better soon HS.

Good to see you getting out again Steve.

I enjoyed Torvean Parkrun this morning. Nice wee park and gorgeous weather. I ran 26.37, quicker than my usual but not quite as hilly. There was a wee bump in the middle, which had to be done twice but it was enjoyable.

Excellent partkrinning Lesley

Ouch re glasses Steve and crown hs

Had a different kind of run today. My flanci ambassador pal messaged to see if I fancied joining her in supporting our lovely other flanci ambassador and all round amazing woman Vic who was taking on The Tunnel Ultra - 200 lengths of a 1m tunnel & way more brutal than it sounds.

We have a pedestrian tunnel crossing the river Tyne so decided to do that. Alice was aiming to catch Vic on her lap number whereas I had a time limit. I did 33 laps aka 66 lengths. Our tunnel was only 0.18m so total around 11.5 (+ 125 steps to get down and back then back down before we discovered there was a lift!) we got changed half way and ran each way but I’m calling it 11.5 despite my watch only recording 9.3 because it obviously struggled with signal.

Quite enjoyed it as we battered the whole way. Poor Vic is having a much worse experience but she is currently 96m in. Amazing.
