Thanks FF its looking like a race in the rain tomorrow. Some of my best race times have been set in awful conditions, but that doesn't work these days 😕

Well done LL running in the heat in Mexico

That doesn't sound too good GG, your brake warning light coming on 5 miles after the light had been replaced.

I hope you will be able to have a rest after you get the boat opened.

I'm taking it easy today, in readiness for tomorrow, and sorting out my kit. If I can run the same time as last year, it will give me a 70% WAVA. This is very unlikely, as being a year older, am slowing proportionally.😕

Let's hope you surprise yourself hillstrider.
Well done Lesley for your interval session and today's run. I hope the snow isn't too bad.
Frustrating about the warning light GG but finding a garage you feel you can trust is important.
A parkrun sandwich this morning and I've just returned from having breakfast with my daughter.

Sounded like a very enjoyable morning FF. I can't run until after breakfast. It means getting up a bit earlier, but works for me.

Great running Lesley hope you avoid the snow.

Kit lay day is a good day & you deserve good results after the excellent training you’ve put in hs but mostly hope you enjoy it.

How lovely to meet your daughter for breakfast FF we’ll do e in the runs too.

We have the cover off j boat opened, canopies swapped & cleaned inside. Been for essential shopping (taking advantage of Morrisons buy 6 save 25% on wine). Sat down with a cuppa (im1st since 7am) and a quiche that was almost frozen! Waiting impatiently for it to thaw. I’m ready for a nap!

It was a lovely morning thank you topped off just after lunch with seeing my friend who's not long been out of hospital.
Good luck tomorrow hillstrider.
Sounds like a busy day GG but well worth it in the long run with being able to use the boat frequently.

Thanks all for giving me a "pass" to stick around!
Still snow Lesley? The challenges you have up there make running that bit harder I think.
As for MOT's and servicing it's a pity my engine can't be fixed so easily 😂.

Yeah, good to use down time usefully like that gg and FF.
Mexico LL ! What a treat and some warmth as well; hope you have a great time.
5.3 miles this morning for me, still very soggy trails and a bit chilly again too. It was a struggle but my furthest outing since October. Felt like it too!

That is so good your friend is home after what looked a shaky place when he was in hospital our NHS are amazing.

I wish your engine was easily fixed to Steve I feel for you being willing but your body not as willing. The years I spent very poorly I hated not being able to run although I physically struggled to walk some days. It’s why I now make the most and am grateful I can run. I hope one day soon you get the ability to do more what you want to do. In the meantime keep ticking along

Last long training run done. I say ‘run’ but there was a lot of walking- partly because the trail parts were treacherous after the rain, and partly because I am running really badly. I think I will feel a bit of a fraud at the start of Boston.
