Well done Steve for your 5 miler, and well done Lesley for your hill reps.

Well done GG for your recovery 3.2 miles, so soon after your epic achievements.

This morning was also a hill reps session with the Wednesday Group in the forest. It comprised 6 reps with 20 metres hard on the level gravel trail at the top, and jogs back down. Garmin Connect advised that I'm in optimum race condition, so I'm hoping I've still got it for Sundays Salisbury 10 miles🤞

Whoop whoop you are amazing hs a true inspiration. Good luck for Sunday.

I got out for 4m with my pal tonight we went through the woods but it was a mud bath so headed back the road way. Rest day tomorrow and I’ll run Friday while car gets serviced & MOT. Weekend at the boat getting her ready for the season start at Easter. Doesn’t seem 5min since we fastened her up.

Thanks GG, the encouragement by everyone on this thread is a great motivator!

Well done for yesterday evenings run in the woods. I don't blame you for turning around to avoid the mudbath. I would have done the same. Make the most of today's rest day.
It sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead setting up the boat.

Today's solo forest run was meant to be a recovery one after yesterday's hill session, but my legs felt really fresh, and I increased my pace mile on mile. Total distance 7k (4.35 miles) I'm now feeling more confident about Sundays race, and will give it my best shot. Tomorrow and Saturday will be rest days.

Sounds like a great progressive run hillstrider.
Well done GG for another run after your weekends amazing running.
A very windy 7 miles for me this morning. Nothing special about it except alternative quicker miles.
