Good luck for the Southampton Half Marathon LL. I've run it several times, and also the Marathon. If the course is unchanged, you run through St Mary's (Southampton Football club ground, ) and over Itchen Bridge.
Well done Steve for your hilly run in the early morning rain.
A well needed rest day for me, and I had lunch in the village with a running friend and her daughter.

Good luck for Sunday LL a social post holiday run sounds like a plan.
I agree that every other day is really good Steve
Glad the snow didn’t show Lesley hope it’s on its way for the winter now.
I got out for 3 tonight did one mile fast for the virtual mile it wasn’t the best but I had a few out of my control slower points. I’ll try again Thursday when I’m home.
Sound a like a great recovery day hs!

Thanks GG, I try to make the most of my non running days.
Well done for yesterday's evening run, including a fast virtual mile.
This morning was an interval session on a fairly flat gravel trail with a running friend. It comprised 5 x 100 metres, 4 x 200 metres with 30 seconds recoveries between efforts. We decided to finish off with an all out 400 metres on the grass, and then jogged home.
I've just passed 100 miles for the month.

That's quite a session has! The last 400 on grass must have been interesting on the tired legs! "Out of control slower points" are just up my street gg! Well done on the 3. Only did weights today so the every other day idea is maintained! The real goal is to feel ok enough to do as many days as I was doing last year (5 days more often than not).

I could write a book on “out of control slower points” 🤣 Ran 5 times this week. All tough in the heat. No great mileage but kept my green tick for March. Fly home tonight 🤞

Good morning all.
No running today, but off to the dentist shortly, re tooth that fell out Sunday morning before the race. A typical sunny morning when I'm not running.

I've not ran since Monday as feeling under the weather. Full of coughs and phlegm which has not helped my sleep either.

Carry some heat back here LL! And a bit of dry weather too. You've done brilliantly this week/month. Hope the gap is closed some way or another hs and not too painful. Still cloudy and soggy here, 5k on usual trail route at a silly 9.30am time ( for me!), I was far too tired to get out at an early hour after coughing much of the night. Great seeing greenery and wildflowers about as well as migrant birds back and singing.

Sorry to hear about your suffering interfering with your sleep FF.
Steve, I had an xray by the dentist this morning, and he will implement a post crown, to replace the one that dropped out. This will involve 3 more appointments, and a hefty bill😬 Sorry to hear that you are still coughing, but well done for your 5k.

No running today, just the usual Friday Farmers Walk.
I've started sneezing, hope it is only hay fever, although I don't usually suffer with it. I think I'll give parkrun a miss tomorrow, as I don't want the friend I car share with to catch it.
