That's my problem Steve, I'm competitive even when doing jogging pace recovery runs. However, I am now able, on most occasions, to resist the temptations. Good start for July with your road 5k.

A running rest day today, except for the Friday farmers walk. I'm hoping to do a parkrun tomorrow.

Great running FF. Good luck to all parkrunners.

I went for a 0.4m ‘run’ with geordiemum today. She’s been injured since NYE we planned on 10min out, 10min back run/walking but it started to rain and got heavy so we headed back. Her knee seemed ok afterwards and maybe 0.4 was enough for the first one.

Now on holiday alone… it’s peaceful.

Nice to have had family down for a few days though GG even if not a good start. Have you heard anything about your purse?
I hope Geordiemum is able to start running well again soon.

It was really lovely it can be a bit stressful trying to cook for 6 in the tiniest kitchen in the world & finding things to do that don’t involve the walking we normally do. But they’ve had a great time and no doubt we’ll repeat it next year (god willing) I’m all for doing things to create memories and special times.

No news on purse but I thought I’d wait until Monday to call the police they said weekends are most likely to have drop offs. Fingers still crossed.

An early 7 miles which included 6 x faster shuffles FF 😂! Only kidding, just a steady slow effort on not a very nice morning.

Glad gg mum's knee seems somewhat better.
