Belated "brilliant run" hs. Fantastic pace which you've worked hard and persistently to achieve.
Cool almost chilly early morning five miler along trails with my wife, haven't had sodden feet for a while until today.

I got out for an early 4 before work running along the river for a little while makes me realise how beautiful it is here. Sitting in the marina working is so much more productive than my office at home.

Parents, auntie & uncle arrive tomorrow afternoon so will have to do same in the morning.

Happy new week everyone.

Muttley
Most of this month off with a calf injury leaves me 50 miles adrift and counting. But I am cleared to resume gradually so all is not lost ... yet.

Good news Muttley I’m trying not to be so target driven.
Lovely 4 miles here in Guernsey. Last one as leave today. Lovely running on the coast.

Thanks Steve, better than expected considering my "hit and miss" training since my fall. Well done for this mornings 5 miles.

Sounds like a nice run this morning ĢG.
Hope you have a lovely time with your parents, aunty and uncle tomorrow.

Good to hear that you are now able to commence training again Muttley, after your calf injury. Don't be in too much of a hurry to make up the lost mileage.

Sounds like another nice run for you LL, making the most of your last day in Guernsey.

Very heavy rain here, and thankful that our 10k wasn't this morning, otherwise it could have been "a wash out!" I just ran 1.5 miles at recovery pace, on the roads, in the rain 🌧

Oh Looby Loo, I'm going to be at a church weekend instead! Sorry. :( Enjoy it anyway, and about the 400 metre mark (and again at the 3.3 km mark) if you look to the right you will see the estate where I live!

Are you driving to it? Best place to park is over on Knavesmire Road near the racecourse gate if you are. (Nearer the finish, but still only 5 minutes from the start at the bottom of Cherry Lane.)

Thanks Mark that’s a shame. We’re coming by train so think we can jog to the start.
