I do targets instead of races or Park Runs LL. As most know, I haven't done a race since 2004 so having a rough annual goal is fun (😂).

Felt chilly early today and my four miler was a bit slower than last week's best on the same route.

Well done Steve. I’ve always done targets too.

Good way to keep motivated. My new hobby is parkrun and if I want to cycle the running has to give a little. ( for now) summer months anyway.

That's a good way to keep motivated Steve.

Parkruns, or any 5k's are a good tool in training schedules, to improve race pace in my opinion LL.

A running rest day for me, but the usual Farmers Walk with 4 heavy bags of shopping. I feel sure that this helps with my running, as it makes me feel stronger.

Happy parkrun tourism LL

I got out for 4 yesterday and 3.5 today I have a plan for 5 on Thursday to finish off my June running.

At the boat until next weekend and just waiting of our guests to arrive, my parents, aunt & uncle (they’re staying in a hotel and joining us on the boat for daily adventures) off to Cambridge tomorrow.

Happy running all.

Nice running everyone.
Hillstrider you just need a 50lb backpack and some boots and you'll be well away. I'm sure you're right with the farmers walk being good training for your running.
Don't let GG know but 5.96 miles this morning, that's 0.96 more than intended so didn't round it up as I said I'd only be an hour which includes my warm up and cool down walks.
