10 miles tucked away, longest since October. Should be in good shape for Watford half in a month. Good luck J*C, I am training for my first Marathon too. Which one are you doing?

Nearly 17 today, to add to yesterday's ten. Absolutely cream crackered now. But feels like this marathon training has got off to a good start.
Glad to get the miles in before the rain came, too...

Really struggling to get started this year, but marathon training officially starts on Tuesday which hopefully will bring some miles.
10k orienteering today on some hills in essex and not a white stiletto in sight, was certainly feeling knackered by the end of it. nap on the sofa this afternoon me thinks.
Target races now, when this is up and running (pun intended) can i have - Tough Guy 29th Jan - Silverstone Half 11 Mar - Shakespere Marathon 29th April

There are 387 of us with a 1000 mile target. I bet about 100 of those just haven't changed it from previous years even if they are not really trying for 1000.
But 145 of us are ahead of target even at this time of the year. That's brilliant work. It will get much easier when there is actual daylight after getting home from work.
