B Rubble Struggled from 6 miles after Abingdon last week. 1:24 slower than last year which probably reflects conditions with wind & rain. Not a bad training run.

DickyDare big PB so Reasonably pleased to go under 1.20 but had more and felt could have gone quicker if concentrated more through miles 6-8. pleased to finish strongly with last mile in 5min 30sec and passed 6 runners to finish 31st overall.

Pathtower Stroud Half Marathon - chip time 1.35.13 - a new pb. Undulating course though nothing too bad. Started a bit too far back so had to weave a lot in the first mile to get some clear road. A bit blustery at stages and some rain but OK overall. Happy overall - next get a little closer to start line....

PenFold OK result considering I havn't done a road half marathon for ages and lack of training since my failed UTMB CCC atempt. Better way to end the year.

Pricey Have had a cough all week and chest wasn't good during race. Nevermind. Good support as usual, despite the weather. Well organised event

Seejay1 I am so sorry to those who placed bets on me, I nearly got there but got held up a little at the end and my legs gave up in the last mile which was a long slope which was draining all my energy out of my legs. I will do better next time, I promise!!

supersquirrel a very good PB course, reasonably flat although it was windy running up the A38 and there were a few showers. If you give them your mobile number they can text you your results.

tjrunning Badly unfit at present having done very little running since London. Running for MSRC (Higgy's Heros) so will have to complete the course but I'm not expecting a fast time
