Schnecke I was very pleased with a 30 second PB here today - but something odd seems to have happened with the chip times, which have me almost 30 seconds faster than my watch time! I don't think that's correct, so despite the lure of an even bigger PB than I was anticipating, I'm sticking with my watch time - I'll adjust it if it turns out to be genuine, but I'm not convinced ...

Lieutenant Lucerne Garmin time, the 'gun to chip' timing was very inaccurate. Looks as if the official results have now been corrected, so a PB by 1 sec.

Tim of Fife This was my personal stop-watch time. (My 'worthless' gun to tape official time was 23.29) - Very pleased with this effort, given that it was my first real 'race' effort for nearly a year. Far too fast through the first km, so deliberately eased off. Second and thrird kms were fine. Struggled in the second half of the third kn and through the fourth km. But put on some rumpy music for the last km and went up the gears, despite my stomach knotting up (4.30 / 4.42 / 4.47 / 4.53 / 4.28) (131st of 313 finishers)
