(Mama) Pigeon I knew this one was tough but the weather was on our side. I felt great whilst running, took it steady and really enjoyed it. I PB'd for sure but my exact time i'm not sure of as have stoped wearing a watch to run with. Will have to wait for the official results to be published. Thanks to Sue and Beast for their support.

Ally2 This PB will go! It's a tough course but with 33min 10k and 44min 8mile PBs I'm looking for sub 39. A PB but didn't run a great race as I got left by a guy I normally beat and was in no mans land from 3 miles and had a bad stitch at 4mile, although shook it off at 5mile and tackled last big hill well. Oh and I can't downhill run. 1 mile 5:17 (too quick) 2mile 10:52 3mile 16:31, 4mile 22:07, 5mile 27:34 6mile 33:39, 7mile 39:13. Came 9th.

Barky Tough course, very underlating with 2 long hills - esp the 2nd one (mile split was 8.11 for that mile) Ran with my Garmin - so all splits are based upon the mile markers!

Boycie It's hilly but I should go sub 6s for it. Another 7 mile pb - in my running career, i've never not set a pb when running over 7 miles - long may it continue!!! UPDATE - continued my run of 7 mile pbs - but only just. Conditions awful - heavy rain. Decided to start harder and try and hang on. Seemed to be working ok, but the first big hill sunk it into my legs and i struggled. The second hill took me 6.46 to run a mile! Finished 30th - 4th counter for harriers.

Deanomite I do like this race but it is a tough one. Not really been training as on holiday last week so I was not expecting a spectacular time. After 2 miles I wasn't feeling right so treated it like a training run. I still PB'd but I know I can run much quicker than 7'40

ironman love it, one of my favorites. hilly and flat all in one. then its straight into the car to drive to austria for the ironman on sunday. i would bet on my son jakey, he will pb this one if all goes well 41mins. great time, cruised along and managed a cool time, very happy, then jumped into the car and drove through the night to IM austria

JovialGnome Five minutes quicker and I'd have missed the rain - ho hum! Lovely course and despite those two stonking great hills I really enjoyed it - especially the downhill bits and given how little training I've been doing of late I'm quite pleased with the time - that's the beauty of being a slower runner, plenty of room for improvement!

Rich963 Splits: 6.30 7.02 7.10 7.00 6.26 7.28 6.07 12 seconds down on last year - slightly disappointing as conditions were great. Felt strong towards the end (overtook quite a few, particularly in the last half mile downhill) so maybe should have pushed more from the start.
