Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

ifor Very pleasant. Sun came out and felt quite hot. Course was like last year, 2-lapper with some strange sharp 180-turns. There was a finish line marked in chalk passed on first lap but it wasn't the real finish line!!! Had an other 400m to go after that. Me - I can't seem to go any faster than this right now, a bit stuck at this kind of time.

SPR Would have been faster but thought the finish was earlier than it was, had a great sprint finish though :-) wish I had it on video. Started too slow as there weren't any road markers till 4km and didn't want to go to fast. Felt good till 6km and increased the pace then felt a little dead from 7 to 8 but had some in front of me so maintained their pace. At 9km picked up the pace and went past my 'pacer'. Unfortunately race finish was not where the map said it would be so slowed down thinking I finished. Pacer started catching me due to this and inspired the sprint finish, :-).

The circuit had 3 tight u-turns which meant that you had to slow down then speed up but apart from that (and the hidden finish) it was a good course.

The Husky Was hoping for a sub 36 but clocked 36 dead despite a sprint finish. Hopefully the offical time might be 35.59 but i doubt it. Still I'm pleased its a PB by 18 seconds faster than 2004.

Tri_Harder Felt good during the race, weather was excellent. Ran with hannah who completed the first 2km in 10 mins but slowed to a 5.30 pace. had a big sprint in my legs at the end. (possibly on for a time close to 50 mins).
