Northernslowcoach, it is addictive. I was one of the many thousands who joined during lockdown, but I have been on it since then and haven't lapsed my membership at all. I really like it, which before joining I never thought I would have said!

I've just looked out of curiosity and have been a member since 2017. I don't use it much in summer but a keeps me interested in winter.
I think when my turbo gives up the ghost I'd be tempted to get a dedicated indoor trainer bike.

I did a lot through lockdowns etc but have stopped now that running is back to normal. No time for both! My wife OTOH remains keen, she started well before covid appeared anyway and has never run so much.

Threaded the gear cable through at last (that was a faff as it had broken in the handlebar and jammed at the top). Then realised the top barrel adjuster was jammed, gave it a little tweak to get it lose with snub nosed pliers and that must have broken the thread as it won't go back on now. Sobs. It probably caused the broken cable in the first place, too much tension at top.
So any ideas what now...? Bike shop have to rethread where the adjuster goes in/replace barrel adjuster? Nothing I can do??
