Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

As far as I am aware it has to be done manually but I wait to be corrected ...

589 feature request is in place for this. Last comment from Fetch was ‘I would like to do this, but they don't appear to offer it as an option’.

No! Record on the Garmin as well and delete the duplicate on strava much easier than a manual export/import.

I've always done the manual import , hardly a faff to save original file and upload.

strava just won't let fetch have the Api I guess and Garmin won't push stuff pushed to it.

I’m on my phone more than my laptop so export/import a pain, plus I need the Garmin record for Vitality points.

If you do want to delete the duplicate on strava automatically there is a site called activityfix where you can do things like that, alongside lots of other stuff. I haven’t tried deleting duplicates but activtyfix knows where data is coming from, and you should be able to set up a rule for that.

GPLama did a thing about it a while ago.

But I just update Fetch manually.

I use activityfix for things like automatically naming my local parkrun activity, keeping a count of my marathons, muting Zwift rides that I’ve named warmup or cool down, muting runs under 2 miles (ie warmups or cool downs), automatically naming races that I do regularly, updating certain runs to workout, etc etc.

Ha, sorry, I’ve just read activityfix can’t delete strava duplicates as strava doesn’t allow that. So the point of me mentioning activityfix isn’t possible, but it’s still a good site if you want to edit activities automatically…

Thanks all, sounds like duplicate then delete might be simplest on phoneternet.
