Just a quick one to say I won't now be able to make the meet up at 7pm, just running out of time to get other stuff done. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one. Thanks.

No worries, myself, Gobi and TToNTT had a lovely pedal around Yorkshire. Although after the etape this morning, my erm... undercarriage is wondering what the hell is going on(!) ha ha ha

Lovely! I gave you a wave as you passed the end of my road ;-)

I might have joined you but I’d already decided to run today rather than cycle, even though I left it very late (just got home)

I did think I saw you Meg 😆👋🏻

I’ve got stuff on next Sat, need to be done relatively early and can’t do Sunday so might put something in for 9.30-10.15am. I’m aware that there will be a few doing the stage 3 etape Sat if people can only join for a little while no problem. It will be very slow and relaxed pace.

I have said yes but it will all depend on if the little terror is playing ball or not on the day.

Update on running. On our Zwift meet up the other Saturday I said that I had not run since lockdown started and was looking forward to seeing whether my Zwift fitness would translate into running speed

One on you sage individuals said that I should take it slow and another said it will be my quads that feel it.

So this morning I went out for a run for the first time. I thought a 6 mile run would be easy enough.

Fail.

Two miles in - quads on fire and had to walk/run the remainder

You lot were right

Enjoyed it though - good to be back out

Oh no! Well glad you got out anyway...

Considering I covered 40 miles total yesterday with my double Zwift day, I feel tippety top today.
