Apologies if you follow me on other platforms but zwift work translates to the real world

3hours into my ride I did a climb at 356 watts for 5 mins which is inline with zwift numbers.

Also sprinted 900 watts for 5 seconds 800 at 10.

Interesting. My road wattage output is c. 10-15% higher than my Zwifting wattage, despite wind, road surface, lunatic drivers etc.

That said, Zwifting over the last 3 months has definitely improved my road riding power :-)

Im the same Cstar, my outdoor wattage is around that as well. Which means when I ride outside my TSS for the ride looks massive... I just have to accept it for what it is. There are a few articles on the net about it, none of them help though :)

Same here - feels like it might be heat and breathing related in my case - guess I need more fans.

Who's etaping this weekend? Really looking forward to the 1.5k climb :)

Seems I just have the mentality of effort is effort

Simbil - I was racing at 7am tomorrow but not now. Will do an easy effort up it at some point

You are right effort is effort, so an RPE of 9 is an RPE of 9. Thing is if your FTP is different inside and out, which mine definitely is, then if you train with power you get quite a discrepancy in TSS.

I guess you are one of the lucky ones that doesn't have that discrepancy?
