Thud!
I've just paid an emergency vet bill of £420.
Jet managed to open a drawer, find a box full of little bonio biscuits and eat the lot. Around 270g of dried biscuit for a dog that only eats 100g per meal. He was in pain within minutes, sticking his nose into my armpit, asking for help with his very distended stomach.
Within 90 minutes he had been given an emetic and was vomiting in the back room at the emergency vet hospital. One elderly and tired dog is now back at home with his relieved and impoverished servants.
Proof that this dog does not associate cause and effect is that he's asking for food!
