Barging in here, but I just wanted to mention something I hadn’t come across before. We were in France recently, with Tigg, and were visiting Mont Saint Michel, which is one of the country’s famous sights (way too busy for me, but that’s a different story). We wanted to visit the abbey on the island, and dogs aren’t allowed in, but the visitor reception area offered dog kennels, for a small fee. Tigg wasn’t overly happy about the idea initially, and we have never left him in kennels before so we were a bit nervous as well, but it was only for a few hours and it worked well. Kennels were spotless, cool, and they provided water. We provided his bed and food (which Tigg had thrown all over the place by the time we came back). They would also be handy to use if it was too hot, to leave the dogs in there as well.

Never come across this at an attraction before, but thought I’d mention it here.

That’s interesting Big_G. I’m taking Albie to France for the first time in September (hopefully!). We’re going down to the south to stay with my parents who also have a dog.

No experience with multiple puppies Ed 😮 but I would say as others have said: secure place is a must (I still use a pen for Albie when I go out), they need watching constantly when out of their secure place, and puppies have very sharp teeth and claws so clothing that offers some protection is helpful! It took me quite a while before I would wear shorts around Albie!

Good news about Tuss, Derby Tup :) You must be relieved.
Hope he isn’t traumatised for life, Carpathius! ;)
No advice re puppies, Ed - other than to maybe take a long solo trip abroad?! ;)

Thanks for all the puppy advice - which I'll be sure to pass on to my friend.

He may provide a further update later today...

I'm astonished that nobody has mentioned by far the most important thing re: lots of puppies - we will require lots and lots of pictures!

- I would be up for a little puppy sitting if needed, Ed but might not be trusted to leave the full set behind.

Lovely looking pup brown 🤎

We had an unscheduled three vizsla meet up at the vets today. A guy had a vizboy similiar size to Tuss and he was chatting with a woman with a 18 week old super cute vizgirl. Her ears were very soft and she had beautiful eyes. Fabulous young dog
