I was going to say it might depend on what breed the puppies were, but I'm not sure it would make much difference

Tuss has improved massively with daily painkillers and weekly laser therapy. He's much happier and mobile again, back to daily walks. Hydrotherapy to build his rear end up beckons soon

I have no advice re multiple puppy minding other than 'remove anything precious and chewable'! That's good news re Tuss, DT. |

Derby Tup When Luna had weakness in her back legs due to meningitis we initially used the vets laser therapy once a week at £65 a session. I then found a cold laser device on amazon just over £100 which allowed is to do twice daily sessions. Took nearly 6 months to lose her limp but I am sure it made the difference. 3 times canicross winner since Link below if of any use: amazon.co.uk |

DT - That sounds positive, good to hear. EdJ - Six pups of that age sounds like pandemonium! I haven’t got any real experience to share, but would suggest you’ll need a secure space and eyes in the back of your head. At eight weeks old, Luna and her litter mates seemed to spend a lot of time outdoors in a very well built pen. If you get lots of visitors (particularly kids) you might lighten the load on yourselves whilst simultaneously helping the pups with their socialisation. |

DT, that's great to hear EdJ, I love the idea of puppies, but a new wife might be less hassle... Biscuit has just scared the crap out of us. Let out in the garden for a last wee, he managed to get a piece of the old parasol stuck through his collar, wrenched it free, then twisted it into a garrotte thrashing about trying to escape. T2 ran out, and yelled for help so I dashed out too - fresh out of the shower and only grabbing a hand towel on the way. Which would have been less of an issue if T2's mate hadn't been behind me |

Biscuit is fine but scared but seems to have skinned the front of his neck. No collar for a couple of days.
