Hello D2, Charlie is getting better every day thanks. I'm feeling quietly confident that he won't need any further medical intervention when we go back next week  Apart from hopping when he jumped down off the sofa, you wouldn't know there was a problem. He's sleeping again now!
At least he's chosen a good week weather-wise for us not to be dog walking. Chucking it down here again.

Sad news - one of my cats died today (she was 18 and a half). I showed Dougal the body so he would know he won't see her around any more, and he went up, but didn't sniff, backed off and then lay down on the floor in front of her and became very subdued. Eventually I had to move him. Quite an extraordinary reaction to his old foe, and brought a tear to my eye.

Sad news.
Dougal's reaction suggests intelligence beyond that which we normally credit to other species.
I'm giggling because Jet is having a wonderful barky dream, in between yips he is snoring

Gosh what an interesting response from Dougal. Sorry to hear your news Chrisull.
Ernie is most miffed that QP went off on his bike and left him with me. I'm being boring and not playing (because I am working). I gave him his treat dispensing ball but he's either lost interest or emptied it already.
