Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Really? REALLY? FFS!

I appear to have gone from 162-0 down to 180-14 down!

Dear Mole-thing, I’m saying this because I love you, are you sure you’ve done enough yet? I hope you’ve got something left in the tank for tomorrow, you don’t want to risk beIng on the wrong end of a comeback!

Sleep well everybody!

Strength to you (and your bones), Gooner.
I, too, did the ulnar + radius combo once, but I was only 8 at the time so I think I got away without metalwork that time (I do have a scar, though, and I remember they knocked me out to reset it, but I thought it was because the bones had got so out of line they had to get quite firm with them to put them back).

Pain in the proverbial, indeed, but hopefully you're right handed?

Back to the business of cake, or rather how WSW displays scores differently between single-player and multi-player...

Great post Daddy Shark, and I feel a little bit honoured that you made it a reply to one of my comments :-) I completely agree that for each game type that what it does is the most useful; it tells you what you actually need to know, or at least (in the case of multi-player) what the set of people want to know. You're right that there isn't a straightforward way to make it more consistent unless the multi-player view was different per person.

So sure, it is a bit confusing if you are swapping between the game modes, but there's no small change which would be better overall. A thumbs up from me to everything you said.

DTs: I've always loved that quote: "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds"
True here, as is so often the case.

DTs, Mole thing is a monster. I'm sure he is very nice but he is a training monster.
