Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ouch Gooner, that's gotta sting. Heal strong.

Me too NDWDave. I had four operations on mine and nearly lost my forearm to infection. I don't really want a fifth to remove all that hardware although it does slight make that wrist harder to twist.

My right arm is now slightly longer than the broken left, which gives me a little blister on a right finger knuckle as soon as it's warm enough for longer evening bike rides.

I did mine as a teenager. I had a cyst in my radius so half the bone was missing. I had bone harvested from my pelvis to rebuild the radius. I have a distinctly asymmetrical pelvis now....

Wow Gooner that looks a sore one. Listening to the others it seems a common one to break but hopefully I will never find out *touches wood* - scaphoid was bad enough for me
