@One Thousand Odd Spiders I've had a chance to have a look. Unfortunately, you were a little way off the starting point.

The first recorded point on your run was at:

54.287171,-2.729657

The start point of the course is at:

54.286842,-2.729428

This is a distance of 39.49 metres, but the tolerance is only 20 metres. Sorry dude.

I have also added a 'Satellite' button (top right corner of the map, when you view a course) to help with designing and studying courses.

Interesting, I started my watch at the car, and immediately went through the start point at the end of the car park. It's really not clear from the guide/instructions you must absolutely be on the start point before you press go.

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
I had an idea the other day whilst walking with Katie. A lot of Fetch games rely on randomly-placed markers to encourage you to vary your routes - but what if you could design your own virtual orienteering course? Drop a dozen or so virtual flags on the map, and then you've got a challenge for yourself and anyone else who is passing through the area.

I've built some pages that allow you to construct a course:

fetcheveryone.com/ori

There are some notes on that page ...
