These saver sessions are worth doing. I just turn the heating off for the relevant time slot. Not sure how to claim my gains but I'm sure they'll tell me eventually.

I'm not being offered any chance to take part in the save energy sessions right now. I expect it's because my provider (Shell) is in the process of transferring all accounts to Octopus.

Helps yhay I've got a house battery: for the last few I've charged the battery before saver session and then discharged it to the grid during the session

That's a good result TR. Mine doesn't look very much but in the context of a monthly energy DD of £30 it amounts to two weeks of free juice. Or a pasty and a couple of pints, even better.

Just been advised of my new rates from 1st April.
Day and night rates reduced by 6 pence and 2.5 pence respectively, but Standing Charge increased from 56.72 to 65.87 pence per day 😲

High standing charge is annoying for those of us with batteries and/or solar. Zero consumption but still £50 a month just to be connected. My wiggle keeps saying we should go off grid! G

British Gas app says that my meter is not sending them data. Apparently I don't need to do anything and they will fix it, however it's said that for a couple of months now.
I'm not sure I care enough to call them up.
