Thanks Bowman. I’d passed the 3:15 pacers, who I hadn’t seen before, at about 35K. I thought the course “owed me some time” because of the startline delay and decided not to be greedy after that, fearful of blowing up at the death. I’m glad I stopped pushing as it was certainly uncomfortably hard going by the end!
