Hi Bowman, Oscar👋

Good to see some sub3:30 attempts in the offing.

Berlin in September and then London a week later for me. Not ideal timing, but I intend to have a proper go at Berlin, if I can get and stay fit, then London will get whatever is left.

Hi SailorSteve 👋
Looking at Frankfurt marathon right now, maybe that would be a nice one to try.

I believe Frankfurt has a reputation for being a fast course too….

I’m looking forward to Berlin, a city I’ve never been to. A pal lives there and he got a ballot place so it will be fun to share the weekend. We’ve tagged days on to the trip for some sightseeing😁

I’ll enjoy hearing about your Newport experience again this year Oscar. Definitely a marathon that I’d like to do again.

I'm thinking this autumn may well be a build up for next spring at the same event, Steve. We'll see. Sounds like a good weekend you have planned for Berlin - great to be able to do it again. :-)

I hadn't realised you'd been sub 4 before, hard luck. Next time maybe.

I’ve done loads of sub 4s in fact 3 of them @ Salzburg (last 2018).

I was half way in 1.46 I could have happily gone same or slightly quicker. Got to 30k a minute quicker than Stamford and 20 miles around the time of MK20. I was being sick at 22 felt like I was gonna collapse
