I ran! This years continued to be very stop/ start but got out and did 3 miles this morning. Yesterday’s indulgence and just a recent bit of weight gain was noticeable but good to get out.

Nice running and walking everyone
Short easy run on the pit with some strides and drills to blow away the cobwebs after 3 days not running. Lovely to see lots of kids with new bikes etc that may not be as clean as yesterday when they get home 😁

Today turned into only an easy run, since I was taking too many pictures of mist over the snow.

Full moon over Crosby last night; wind touching 30mph SW but canny route selection avoided the worst. Prom to docks, then beach, rounding leisure centre and - guess what? - back down the beach. 52 min., furthest [in time] since my headlamps were fixed.] :)

I intended an easy run, but it took quite a long time and effort in new snow that was going soggy around 0C. In addition, a lot of bushes and trees were weighed down by snow, obstructing the path in narrower parts.
