I started the Adriene course today.

I found day 1 quite hard towards the end - I think it could well put off complete newbies who have no core strength or flexibility.

(though I did do it straight after bootcamp, plus off the back of the HM on Sunday and 4 miles yesterday, so body was a bit tired)

Lol, probably an understatement that last bit TeeBee! I found that HM really worked my core given how I felt the next day.

Hi all! Am on day two of the Adriene 30 day challenge, it's quite hard on the back especially as I have a weak core (which is why I started this) and its a lot of planking and boats.. And my arthritic toes can't do toe yoga :( but have enjoyed it so far. I really really want to do all 30 days but have form in stopping after a week or so or when every muscle is screaming at me

Managed to do my yoga last night. Habits are hard to make hp, I find yoga particularly hard to stick even though I enjoy it and feel the benefits. Could you tie it to another habit?

After this week I can make evening practice a habit. I like to do it pre-bed. Kayaking finishes too late.

I got up at 6:30 and did day 1. I found the pace annoyingly slow. Practicing ‘making time’ when I was worrying about not having time for everything this morning just made me cranky.

I’m not sure muttering ‘for God’s sake Adriene get on with it’ constantly was quite in the spirit of the practice.

Adriene would understand. And then tell you to go into your love cave, sniff your armpit and breathe love in and out :)

Be Kind tonight. Very chilled and bed-friendly. I’ve decided I only really like yoga which doesn’t require standing up right now. I need a playlist of shortish videos which can be done on a bed.
