Only 2k today - 9' 43''

But oh how I enjoyed it. Less than 30 to go now and then I am going to relax a wee bit till my paris training kicks in.

And I'm back down in the 11 stone club for the first time in donkey's years!!!!!

LOL at the the thought of Girlie brandishing a fish finger! You could point it menacingly... :-)

Back on the pony today after a week of no running. Well, back on the treadmill. Thought it best to start off slowly. Still 85 to go. It's not going to be as much of a doddle now, after losing over 30 miles' worth of training to the lurgy...

Don't overdo it Kev, we don't want any injuries at this stage now.

Well done Quimby, same advice, don't overdo it.

Will, hopefully you will feel more full of beans next week.

C'mon Will....a couple of deep breaths, maybe a week or so with your feet up, then get back on the horse. We know you can do it.

quite right to ban those sambas, noisy things. ;-)

well i decided to do a favourite hilly route to bring up my 1000 - measured it all on the map. went past the hemlock stone on the way, the geological end of the pennines in bramcote hills and a few other little lumps.

logged my run and my mileage total went up to the magic 1000 - except on closer inspection it is 999.91 miles. now i know all entries are approximate but it's logged miles that count. so i will be going out again later to complete the 1000 in the most appropriate fashion.
