Running. And working too hard and too many hours. Probaly the real cause of this affliction.

The steroids and non running will soon put the piunds back on, that and the fact that I might start drinking again lol!

How's everyone doing? I have had 5 people bet on me, only 3 of which I know about :-o! No pressure then eh?!

Feeling a bit more positive about things today. baby on the mend, clubmates have picked up my number and so all I have to worry about it getting to the start line fit, healthy, well hydrated, fuelled and rested!! Got a final 3 miler to do thois afternoon, but waiting until the rain subsides - not because I am a fairweather runner but because I will be doing it with the buggy and better for little man not to be couped up under a plastic cover for half an hour if I can help it! Had a sports massage yesterday evening and all feels fine apart from some random tightness I have on my right hipflexor - at massage had some ultrasound on it and he's also put rocktape on it as a precaution. as long as it doesn;t hurt when I run I won't be panicking!

I only just remembered yesterday that there will actually be a Runners World Pacer, which could be helpful! Though their 1.30 pacer at Silverstone half seemed to not make the pace...
