I’d be more impressed with a sub 90 HM PtB
Congrats anyway though!
Lockdown and all the extra time it brought had made me think about a membership at my local club. They are desperate for members but it’s still £1500/yr for full membership. I’m not sure I want to really pay that much but some of these flexible schemes seem a bit too restrictive. A Sunday evening 9 holes though, bliss. What set up are you on PtB?
I’m in the Lakes. The rain is incredible. Rivers in spate, waterfalls a splendid sight!

You said never again!
I take it you mean regarding club membership? Full 7-day membership at an average course (does have driving range, does not have bar/clubhouse), £650/yr here. You live (and I used to) in an expensive part of the world...

I have three chunks of WSW squares that I could access if I joined the respective golf clubs.

Lucky you WW, nice there even when it rains. How busy is it at the moment? We did think about going there but thought it might be a bit crowded.

never is a silly thing to say!
We’re in Grasmere BR. You have to queue down the road to get in the co-op but other than that no issues at all. It’s certainly not deserted but it’s not at all over run. Lots of people told me it was too busy up here but I think the reality is that great places just attract people and you’ve got to be ready to share.
It’s certainly not like the queues outside Windsor Castle or the local Spoons!!

Fantastic WW. We had our honeymoon nearby at the Glen Rothay Hotel by Rydal water.

Bazo, I thought you were allowed to roam anywhere in Scotland. Just run across those golf courses. *Waits for PtB to explain why you can't do that*

Risk of flying golf balls !
I also have 2 squares that are within Murrayfield Stadium and 2 that would require me to pay an entry fee to the zoo
