Lou, thanks for the support today. It was nice to see you just at the time when it started to feel like the PB was nailed. Sorry I didnt have time to stop for a chat !
Rossco, I watched the flyby on strava and you were on my heels the while way around....Great running today.
Chris, thats a more than decent outcome also. Well done. You have a great chance of getting that 3:15
Well done on the PB Rog, nice when they come along.
Gus, I spotted that and am well chuffed with 3rd MV50. No prize sadly. Also I mistyped my name in the entry, hope that doesnt mean PO10 and Run Britain dont recognise my PB. Bary is close enough to Barry - lol

you should be able to go in and manually claim your result Baz. You wouldn't be surprised to read that Woolley often goes in the results wrong so I do it reasonably often.....

Bazo, I see what you’re saying very close all the way! I was ok on the uphills today but couldn’t seem to get the legs turning over on the downhills.

Nice one Baz. 30 sec pb means you have a whole 2 sec to spare for the maraathon

lol Joe.....30 seconds times 2 for double the distance means I have the cigars out
I had a look back last night to the 2014 Scottish half which was c400m long where I was deprived a PB and it looks like yesterday was almost identical. According to garmin measurement at mile 13 I was 1 second slower yesterday than I was back in 2014. Its nice to get the PB I should have had back then, but on the other hand I am glad I didn't PB in 2014 as I would have missed our on 3 other PBs in between times !

In more important news...
I've updated the parkrun spreadsheet (E&OE) and the pattern is becoming clear - HG spent the whole of last year underperforming so that his assault on cracking 20 minutes this year would give him an unassailable lead in the parkrun "bit of fun".
Only two participants are averaging faster than last year's best three performances - HG with a mahoosive 50s gain and Snayak is also 7s under last year's benchmark.
Best of the rest is Jovi with just a 1s deficit, followed by Baz (13s) and Sjjh (14s).
Will April see much change as our heroes take on 26.2 across the world?

That's brilliant Baz. I'm looking forward to being in London when you get your sub3. Big question is which pub will you be celebrating in the Red Lion or Chandos?
Well done Rossco & Rog too.

Baz - lovely stuff. You're in good shape.
Rossco - that's a great HM too. Maybe you and Baz will be tracking each other round London too?
Splendid to get the contribution from Lou+1 live from the ground too
Rog - also a fine HM. Looks like you're in for a major marathon PB.
Chris - nice one re: entering and declaring for Stratford. That 10k sounds brutal. Your pace bar chart in the training log tells a story; it's got every colour under the sun, pace changing from 5:xx to 12:xx
I'm a bit behind the chat here, but the 30s/30s session discussed is pretty close to something Hadd ( ) wrote in his posts I think - that was 10km made up of 200/200s on a track, at paces that I can't quite remember, but must have been about 5km and MP? OK, MP isn't jogging, but it probably feels pretty easy for the 200m 'recovery' between the hard 200s.

Larkim, I'm at a severe disadvantage in the parkrun challenge as my 2019 home parkrun is slower than my 2018 best time parkrun. You couldn't just take a minute off this years times could you (or add a minute onto last years!)?
