Just popping in to comment of PtBs comment of the month of don't go Baz-ing it up.

As you where......

(FYI - I've now become some crazed British Military Fitness fanatic and can be regularly seen crawling around wet grass in local parks. I try my best to out sprint my classmates in the running purely to boost my ego. Heart still behaving but not planning on entering or contemplating a race till I'm safely married)

Lol at "safely married" Lou. No such thing! ;-)

Do BMF know about your ICD Lou? Be careful. Obv!

Difficult scheduling in the plan with half and 10Ks coming up, none of which fit in with the tune up races and long runs in P&D! I shall juggle.

I've had the first signs that just normal, gentle running is pain free and not completely ploddy. Perhaps increased training volume and consistency is doing something! How shocking! :-) G

Watched HMS Queen Elizabeth come in this morning. Memorable mid-week run!

"not planning on entering or contemplating a race tlll I'm safely married" made me think that STOOSH might still back out if you ran a 20:xx park run, or something.

Jovi - I've 'asterisked' you over there (= > ) so we can still wish you a nice weekend, even if not racing :-)

G - that's good. And your parkrun/intervals pace still looks good. All very encouraging.

Lou - any advice/insight on a cardiac question over on the Heart Rate thread?

PtB - I've offered my HR wisdom.

HappyG - yes the BMF guys know about my ICD - but suspect they don't believe what happened as I'm probably one of the fittest and fastest runners in the group... I tell all the instructors, most don't know what an ICD is, look initially worried and I did declare everything when I registered.

Perhaps they think you're telling them you have an IED? Or an IUD? Either would explain the worried look :-)

Ha !! They do took about avoiding landmines when crawling/ on the grass which I now realise is avoiding dog poo. And yes - if I was sharing info on the later it would explain the looks I get!

Still 7 month check today and I've had no further electrical F' ups detected. The human body is a mysterious thing!
