Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

WW - with your ankle twists I actually would advise you not to bother. Trails with stones in and very uneven. Lots of twists, up and downs with tight turns, over little wooden bridges in places. As said lovely course but not quick and I would say a real risk of turning ankles.

Yeah - just put them up Gus, been a busy day. Was so spritely this morning - tempted to try the shoes for tomorrow's MP session but will be sensible as I do normally run in something with some structure.

Daz - thanks. Will head that advice I think. Much appreciated.

WW - I'm missing something here. All I see is a 7 mile run at 7:20 pace?

I think WW put up then deleted a super fast run as a bit of fun. Could be wrong though...

LOL Daz, very good.

Nice trot around the Burnham Beeches HM today at something I hope is close to MP. Nice to see some familiar FE faces there. RFJ running faster than promised must be a good thing. It's surely also the only time I'll ever over-take Gobi. Sure, he was pacing someone but I'll take it! All in Tempo Boosts too so no cheating....

I wish I'd seen the 3:15 fake news. I assume it was a 13:xx parkrun or similar :-)
Crikey that's a decent 'steady' HM though WW.

So, back at home without the disruption of holiday (!), so back on the miles.

Last week's log looks a little poor for running, as indeed it was - just managed the one MLR, but sandwiched that between some hilly cycling (more than in the log actually) as we had a 6 seater car for the 7 holiday makers, and North Devon is quite hilly! Plus plenty of running around on beaches, traipsing around tourist spots etc. Surprised when I got in last night that weight hadn't gone through the roof, despite getting through 3 bottles of wine in 7 days and not turning down an extra sausage roll at any point during the hols.

Anyway, I postponed the Sunday LR to tonight () so 17 miles after work this evening should be "fun".
